A home of rich tones, lived in, and loved.

Some homes completely change a person's mind... just when you think you've figured out your style, a place dives into your senses and alters your perception. 1. I thoroughly enjoy seeing spaces with rich colour...all so easy to paint everything safe white...but these richer colours give a space so much personality. The orange velvet chaise is exactly the same fabric as my own sofa (which dates from the mid 1800s). Fabulous pairing with the soft green walls.

    1. Sounds lovely & orange is just beautiful! And it is so easy to paint everything white—safe and predictable, yet now I'm leaning towards some very rich tones when planning for my own home :)

  2. Oh, yes. I constantly find myself flipping between light neutrals and deep jewel tones in my interior taste. I think there is a balance to be found somewhere, bringing the best of both worlds to the table.
