Weekly Finds № 52

This week's discoveries and links, starting with:

01 Water feature inspiration: collected from Art & Décoration, a lovely selection of beautiful water features—both large and small. Don't you love the sound and the refreshing feel they offer? Whether in a circular pool or trailing down levels in the garden, they are a must in my books. In fact, I was recently in a beautiful garden, and fell in love with the water tub built of stone that sat just outside a large pond. There is nothing quite like it during Summer months.

02 Garance Doré + Thunderwing Press: being a designer, type and texture, and all things visual, are such a large part of my life. Of course, we chose letterpress for our new business cards, and thoroughly enjoy the traditional method of cards created with such care, by hand. How lovely it was to discover that Garance Doré had done the same with her note cards and envelopes, and had a wonderful experience printing with Thunderwing Press.

03 From Reiss, a cheerful, silky top + a beautiful, soft shoulder bag
04 On Casa Tres Chic, an incredibly beautiful home
05 A beautiful antique chandelier available for purchase from Eloquence
06 On Classiq, inspiration for wearing the classic safari dress
07 Featured on Eclecchic—fragments or sculpture?
08 The newly opened and very chic W Opera hotel in Paris
09 A fabulous idea for highlighting art and/or photography on the wall
10 On Oliver & Lilly's, romance in the market

  4. I love all things hand-made. There's that special feeling when you own something hand-made, the work and passion put into it. I need new business cards and I'm carefully considering the possibilities. Thank you for the mention, Sarah.
