Recently, a friend and I had a conversation about fashion and style, and how most often our favorite pieces— that ones that remain in each of our closets season after season—tend to embody a number of traits, or benefits, if you will. There is a level of style of course, that continues to delight. But, there is also a certain element of comfort. That's not to say the pieces aren't fitted, no… the designer seems to have taken into account a woman's body and how best to fit, flatter and give where need be.
Don't you love finding pieces like that? Those reading this who are fashion designers can certainly attest to the many, many hours and considerations that go into creating garments. And taking a closer look at the pieces within Burberry's resort collection, I believe there are definitely some that fit the bill.
Showcasing a lovely selection of finely tailored jackets, gentle tops, fitted pants and pajama style shorts, the looks are saturated with a breeze of ease. As for the evening pieces, the gowns are certainly luxurious and elegant. What are your thoughts on the collection?
