I have always been in favour of light and bright spaces for working environments, particularly as they offer a clean slate for the imagination. Place bright coral and a deep grey next to it, and the colors shine… or a lovely pale pink with a navy—it just works. Beyond color, it allows the mind to breath—even if only in perception. Even in design school, I always appreciated clean tables, walls, and minimal clutter in order to be productive. Not much has changed, though now I have a little more color and warmth in my studio. Taking a closer look at this space above, isn't the copper pipe a fabulous idea for lowering lights, but also, for adding interest?
