Interior: Heady Tones

With fancy and femininity.

Though the word heady is often referred to in context with scents, I couldn't help but affirm its definition in the case of this characterful and colorful interior. With very little white space to rest, (mainly on the ceiling and inside of the door) the eye travels from color to metallic, to glass, back to color, and so on; though a slight sense of reprieve can be found in the warmth and steady saturation, perhaps. The design of the spaces and the objects are so intriguing, with many textures and layers of interest to appreciate—each photograph demands a few moments to digest and appreciate everything. What are your thoughts?

  1. I agree. Heady is a good word for these rooms. There is a lot going on in there, but the rooms still seem to be grounded, don't they? It must be the deep "heady" colors.
