Happy New Year to you!
I hope that you had a fabulous celebration yesterday! My evening was wonderful and was the perfect close to 2011, and opening to 2012. And with a great start, I woke up this morning rather later than usual, but feeling well-rested and refreshed on this very sunny Sunday, and feeling a little excited for what is in store...
One thing is for certain, I feel very happy and fortunate to enjoy your company and share in this little slice of the world with you, so fondly known as blogging. I personally choose not to make a list of resolutions per say, but rather consider different hopes—and I have a number this year—some small and others, large. What are your hopes for 2012?

Dearest Sarah,
ReplyDeleteSmart for not per say making resolutions! It is more important to live 365 days a year as intens and positive as we can with indeed high hopes for peace and other things that will happen in our lives... Having faith is a big one; together with hope and love it forms the triangle of our lives.
Love to you,
Mariette
Happy New Year Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI love these photos of Clémence Poésy, I have them in my inspiration folder ;-)
I'm not making any resolutions, I'll just hope for the best and accept whatever life throws at me.
To finally finish a first draft of my novel. It's a goal, rather than a resolution.

ReplyDeleteThere is something wonderful about a black maxi dress during the day. That third to last picture is wonderful - the lighting, the drape, I love that it looks like there's a collar to it - sort of a maxi shirt dress. How beautiful and inspiring. Happy new year!!

My fav. combo has always been the rustic/lux. Neither take the other too seriously
ReplyDeleteI do not make resolutions, either.
ReplyDeleteInstead, I made "alterations" as I wrote a few years ago here:

Ebeth: there is, isn't there? I would love to purchase one :) ... in which I would have to take straight to the tailor!
