Welcome, November

A month of comforts.

Welcome to November! To me, a brand new month always feels fresh and full of promise. As plans begin to lay out for the days to come and the weather turns to a more brisk Autumn, we can enjoy the now and look forward to the future. I do not actually celebrate Halloween, but celebrate the beautiful Autumn season in all of its glory; A season in which staying cozy indoors and the time spent enjoying a medley of warm, golden shades outdoors seem to run parallel with one another—don't you find?

Out come familiar favorites—cozy things to wear and live in, hearty candles, soups, desserts, lovable movies, inspiring songs. Each year, elements of comfort are enjoyed again, but are given a new life in this years' time—a new perspective maybe, a new layer of memories...

Plus, while staying cozy indoors, stop by {this is glamorous} for a visit and read this week's {take me away} post, exploring vintage and antique luggage, touching on the beauty and appreciation of a bygone era. Helpful tips on purchasing, maintaining and decorating with well-traveled pieces are included, as well as some interesting reading material for further learning.

  3. Dearest Sarah,

The warm colors of the fall in nature reflect a cozy style to wear for this season. Sure, we need warm things, sweet things to warm up to over a cup of tea.
You wrote an excellent {take me away} post and I left a comment with a tip for purse (luggage) cleaning by a South California Couture Cleaner I personally know (read here:{http://bit.ly/sJ2Cff} . Well worth it for a REAL piece!
    Love to you,

  4. November and autumn always gives me fond memories. It is during this season that families will gather together during Halloween or Thanksgiving. As a child I am excited when autumn starts.

But notwithstanding the weather outside my window, I can well and truly appreciate the beauty in your lovely collection of images in this post. Just delightful - so romantic! Virginia xx

  19. November is such a lovely month here in Sweden. The height of Autumn behind us, we are heading to a time when nature stands proud and naked, just as the first few snow flakes begin to fall.
It's a month of preparation for me and the anticipation of Christmas is rising.

Loved this post Sarah. The pictures are heaven.

Hugs from the other side of the Atlantic.
