I hope that your weekend is going well! I must say, though we have enjoyed beautiful weather here for the majority of October, things have taken quite a turn for November, with the promise of wind storms, rain and even snow for the coming week! After debating a new winter coat, I actually purchased a belted caplet/wrap coat and beautiful, long, deep greyish green coat—both are perfect for layering. And as luck would have it, I have lost my favorite long gloves and am now in need of a replacement pair. (I have plenty of short styles) I have teeny tiny hands—do you have any recommendations? I am looking for black or another dark color.

Robyn: Oh yes, that's right! I could not pass it up, but on a sad note, their store in Gastown is no longer there. They will be selling to other boutiques, as always, and online instead, growing their sales to other shops. I also bought a deep green jacket, really long, that you will adore. It was from a few seasons ago.

So many beautiful coats! Such a shame about the gloves, darling. I hope you can find a beautiful replacement before it gets too cold. I bought mine from Aspinal of London a couple of seasons back and absolutely love them - so buttery soft, I can stroke them :)... Beautiful styling in the colours I adore. How gorgeous is that burgundy lace dress, such a classy look paired with the elegant coat. Gloves, just what's on my mind today. I have been looking for a long pair of gloves for a while now and I regret now that I didn't buy a pair from my trip to Berlin last summer where I discovered the excellent quality of the Roeckl gloves (I did buy a short pair in the softest leather though, which I adore). :) xoxo
