Italian style is (most often) famously synonymous with authentic craftsmanship; Well made objects, ranging from chairs to shoes, produced with the utmost care and attention to details. There is something to be said and celebrated for preserving history, tradition and a reputation, isn't there? Today's feature showcases a selection of pieces from Fratelli Rossetti—a family owned company based in the small village of Parabiago, (close to Milan) offering primarily footwear as well as a nice selection of handbags, in a range of exquisite styles for Autumn and Winter...
Fashion Italian Style with Mr. Rossetti (son of the founder):
"Our shoes are still made in the traditional way: more than 150 steps, most of which are done by hand although the factory boasts the very latest equipment and organizational style. Our artisans are very specialized and this is not easy to find. Mainly we have trained them internally, but lately we have been supporting some schools to help us with this task. Although for the industry as a whole some production is moving overseas to China and other low-wage countries, at Fratelli Rossetti we are very loyal to our traditional production system and we are very proud of this."
From tall, casual leather boots in a warm caramel, to fitted, sparkling black flats, to brogues and elegant pumps in dramatic colors, a pair of shoes from Fratelli Rossetti would be a lovely staple. There are many beautiful options, but I would love to know, which is your favorite?
