Fall/Winter 2011 collection.

Truth be told, I find children's fashions just as exciting as adult fashions—except pieces for children often have even more fun styles and colors. And because I love retail (and have worked in retail part time for about ten years) and adore children and childrenswear, I often spend my weekends in a fine fashion boutique for little ones, ranging from infant to twelve years. (a fond story here) It is so much fun helping excited Grandparents put outfits together for a new baby in the family, or seeing a pregnant lady so excited for her little one to arrive, or watching children come in, wanting to wear so many of the wonderful things within their fingers' reach. I love it.

And besides brands such as Eliane et Lena, Marèse, Jacadi, Noa Noa, Talc, Dino e Lucia, and a few others, I adore Bonpoint's shops (the owner is also that of Merci in Paris) and the lovely collections that they produce—twice each year. The collections are classic, slightly elegant, full of ease, and all the while often embodying an element of "cool". Isn't the lookbook and new collection sweet?
