A classic, contemporary, colorful, comfortable home.
Hope you are all having a wonderful Friday so far, with great plans for this coming weekend! A slight unintentional alliteration to begin today's post, and with a grand home that masks its size by the creation of the most comfortable and warm living spaces. Intensely colored fabrics to cover chairs, vases and tabletop pieces, artwork, and such make for such a lively home. One can certainly appreciate the décor direction, as created by Parisian decorator, Joelle Pléot. With a canvas of classic, traditional French texture combined with some more modern/contemporary pieces, the look is instantly refreshing. One of my personal favorite spaces would have to be the living room area, with the large trees and unique coffee table—isn't it fabulous?

Oh so beautiful, Sarah. I love the clean colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is so funny to see the eyes in these paintings, and I love them. I have eyes in most of the paintings I do. I fit one in somewhere. It drove my painting professor CRAZY!
Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteMona, I am seriously considering a switch to wordpress after all of the blogger issues we've been having... and after a few emails from readers saying they are unable to comment (I have noticed some cannot) I feel the time is near. Apologies, and thank you so much for your perseverance :)
ReplyDeleteI love the rustic elegance of these homes, the gorgeous pops of color, the otherwise neutral palettes. So beautiful Sarah! Hoping you had a wonderful weekend!

Hi Sarah! If you decide to transfer to Wordpress be extra careful not to lose your RSS feed subscribers. I had to practically start over back in August of 2009 because I did just that. Just thought I'd let you know because I'd hate for you to deal with something so maddening!
