Luxurious lipsticks to fine leathers.
Good morning to you! I hope that this week has been lovely so far — productive with a little fun, if possible. Mine has been most inspiring and surprising. In fact, I've just found out that I won this beautiful fashion print from (and by the talented) Nancy Marcus, of Nancy Marcus Design. I can hardly wait to see it and place it in my home... as for today's post, following an almost retro, modern, open home, came inspiration from makeup to handbags — beautiful and plush materials, whether that be a smooth lipstick, luxurious leathers or fine metals. That is certainly my weak point, as I cannot pass a gorgeous handbag of buttery leather without touching it or go too long without re-applying a sweep of my favorite lipstick... what are your favorite materials?

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to beat leather. The smell, the texture.... I just adore it. I also love real fur. I am hoping to order some fur-on leathers in the coming seasons to work with. Could be interesting.

As to your question, my favorite material would be supple, soft and thick. Preferably leather, a soft sweater or a smooth lipstick. My (secret) wish would be to one day own a bag made from Ostrich leather...
