Style: Bold Colors

Balancing Color.

Good evening, friends! Can you believe that Friday is here already? I'm looking forward to sushi tonight, as always, and a lovely weekend ahead —and you? As for this evening's inspiration, it's all about being on the bold side. We've seen bold colors on the rise for some time now, showing up in signature clutches, artistic shoes, skirts, jackets and such, in vivid shades of orange, blue, red, magenta, and more. Balanced by more neutral blacks, camel and bits of grey or white, the look is rather strong. I personally plan on incorporating some fearless color into my wardrobe through Spring pants and nail polish perhaps. Is there a bright item or two on your Spring/Summer wishlist?

  2. With a face like that, she would look beautiful with any makeup, I actually thought that the look was very playful, and we need playful at times. I am going to have fun and do this tomorrow. I hope I don't scare my little doggie, haha.
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

  4. How creatively you've combined make-up with clothing trends, Sarah! I definitely have some bold colour items on my wishlist (a beautiful striped tee has already made way in my wardrobe and I've made great use of it several times so far). Hope you have a fabulous weekend! :) Ada

  9. Fingerrings! I have a timeless faible for crazy plexiglas pop color rings - preferrably the translucent kind. So coincidentally, this will be my fashionable color accent :-) Thanks so much for stopping by on my blog Sarah, appreciate it! Always love your posts - thanks for keeping us in the loop with your gorgeous finds! PS you may also like the post I just published on modelsmuses.com (I also blog for them) - it also works with your style inspiration above. Greetings!

  11. Hi Sarah! What a fabulous post! I am all about brights lately and have purchased quite a few things. Pinks, reds, orange, green, blue, yellow. The brighter and punchier the better. Just makes me more excited for summer :)

Hope you had a lovely weekend! xoxo

  12. Love that last outfit in black with the flash of a gold belt.

Absolutely loving the clothes on the runways and streets at the moment ~ bold colour is always a good thing in my book, but generally so hard to find good examples of it that are stylish and elegant as well. The current trend is all of those things. Gorgeous post.

  14. Love every single spectacular colour and tone in these images!

Oh and I want that super thing ring... it's even thinner than my wedding band, which I thought was pretty thin to begin with!

    Thanks for your comments.
    You made me smile!

  15. SO many things to love here, and yes, I've got too many bold bright things on my wish list. First of all, I am crazy for the bright blue eyeshadow in your post, and that I've seen around. Cobalt is my favorite color, so I am fiending for some cobalt shoes, and cobalt jeans. I'd also love a colorful bold scarf to brighten any neutral outfit.
