A Royal Wedding

Today marks a historical, happy and memorable day.

Without a mere hiccup throughout this momentous event, today marks a very important day in history as Prince William and Kate Middleton spoke their vows and were married. Since their engagement announcement, thousands upon thousands of loyal, romantic hearts have been planning to take part in celebrating the occasion —be it with their own party, a tribute, or simple spoken words of happiness and excitement. And I must admit, I am among them, viewing highlights such as Kate's stunning dress, their vows and departure in the Aston Martin, in muted, blurry tones, with inevitable tears of joy brimming in my eyes. I am so happy for these two and for the many adventures to share and wonderful moments to come...

  2. A beautiful choice of images :)

I thought today was absolutely wonderful, I was glued to my screen and cried and cried. A lot!!
I think it was because they really just looked so happy and Catherine was so radiant. And her dress - and Pippa's - was stunning.

A lovely lovely day, so proud of London :)

  8. Hello Sarah - what a lovely snapshot of the day - I knew I could rely on you! I watched it all (twice, did the evening highlights too!) and loved every minute. Such a treat to see them so in love and so many touches to the day that seemed to prove that they did it on their terms. She was flawless...and that dress... Lou x

  19. Eloquently expressed, Sarah. I loved all the meaningful details, the symbolism used throughout, but mostly all the moments that gave us a glimpse into their personalities and relationship.
