Paris: Grand Véfour

The restaurant room & small parlor of the Grand Véfour.

Grand... certainly a fitting word for such a beautiful, richly painted world to escape in, even if just for a quick lunch, coffee break, or a long, lingering evening with a loved one. Indeed, a well-presented exterior leads to a warm and classically French decorative interior, complete with painted walls, velvet seats and glowing lights... and then there is the food—presented, not merely served—presented, and with the utmost in culinary care and attention. True artistic enjoyment on all accounts.
