Haute Handbags: Céline

Accessories: Céline, Spring 2011 collection.

From the moment I set eyes on the Bi-Cabas as well as the Envelopee clutch in natural linen, I have not been able to forget them. To me, they are the perfect combination of elegance and understated quality—instant classics with tailored lines, in linen and leather. I could see them working so well with your favorite little black dress, wide leg pants and a crisp blouse, or even your favorite stand by trench, and heels... Beautiful!

  1. I prefer leather bags, but I'm sure there are no better looking linen bags out there than these, <3 The envelope clutch in particular is fabulous! x

  2. I've been in love with Celine for so long I can't even remember when this love began. :) And the last few collections were absolutely amazing. I wish I could have one of these bags myself, or a couple of other ones, from both autumn/winter and s/s... Dreams, dreams... x

  6. Thank you for this! I was not familiar with Celine and love the small bag with the chain. (As I am only 5' 2" I tend to stay away from the bigger bags less I look like a purse with legs.)

  7. Beth: I am not much taller, and completely know what you mean :) When I was younger, I used to love large bags, but now, prefer something more scale-appropriate... and the clutch is just that for us!

  8. Oh, how I love that tote. Though I think my dreams of being an incredibly rich writer are somehow unlikely, I still dream of being able to own a bag by Celine (or Louis Vuitton, or Chanel, or Bottega Veneta...)
