Escape: Belgium

Boutique hotel De Witte Lelie, Belgium.

How lovely it would be to escape for the weekend, and book a room at this beautiful, 17th century Belgian hotel. Located in the center of Antwerp, this is true boutique hotel, containing just 11 well-appointed suites to enjoy. Here delicate upholstery and fresh white linens combine with beautiful, more classic furnishings and modern amenities. An ideal combination. And, according to a few sources, De Witte Lelie offers impeccable hospitality and a world-class experience. Though I must say, beyond the hotel lobby, common areas, and suites, I am most intrigued by the outdoor dining area. In fact, it seems that the interior dining area opens up to join the picturesque courtyard—serving as such a romantic venue. The relaxed atmosphere, luxurious interiors and classic touches are just the ticket for a wonderful and highly memorable stay, I believe...

  3. Hey Sarah...long time no see, I know! So many new beautiful and very stylish photos here, can't wait to see them all! And by the way, it's official, I'm repainting my apartment white, getting rid of the red kitchen and turning it white (with antique handles)...and you can certainly consider yourself and your beautiful blog co-responsible for it :-) Thx for the inspiration and have a splendid weekend! xox

  9. This is a stunning place. Last time I was in Brussels I stayed at a very "decayed beauty" kind of hotel. I think the one in your images looks like perfection. Saving it for my next trip!

  14. It's stunning! I love a hotel that steps outside of the box with room design as well, sometimes the lobby and restaurant areas shine, but the rooms are still generic. Gorgeous, hope you and well and enjoying your weekend, my friend!

  15. Breathtaking! The beautiful blue furniture amidst a sea of black and white is amazing - the flowers are the icing on the cake!

This outdoor dining area is what I aspire my patio to become...sadly it is not there yet. Thank you for the dream!

  16. I want to play chess in front of that fire immediately! What a find this place is ~ exquisite attention to detail and full of delightful little surprises to please the eye. Aren't these the best kind of hotels? The kind that are UNIQUE not ubiquitously global ~ otherwise what is the point of travel? Bookmarking this one for my next trip to Belgium!
