Just as soon as I planned on saying goodbye to the snow for this year, it returned once again; the teetering between Winter and Spring, between frosty and fresh. I find that different points of the year attract me to different colors, and for this point in time, it's mint. Such a soft color, and seems to show off well paired up with a myriad of whites, a deeper green, blush and full-bodied magenta, as seen above... though equally stunning against bits of gold, rich violet and even a really warm apricot. Would you ever incorporate this color into your own home and/or wardrobe, or alternatively, for a celebration?

Hi sweetheart! My bedroom walls are soft mint and so are some of the bedroom accessories (blankets etc.) Looks really beautiful mixed with whites and capuccino colours plus some golds and blacks. :)

ReplyDeleteIncredible porcelain, oh how I would love to drink some tea out of that prettiness! Mint is a beautiful color and I sure would combine it with one or two other pastels either in my home or wardrobe. Loving all the pistachio, my favorite snack at the moment! Back when I was decorating my first apartment, I quite loved this color, and then forgot about it. It is lovely. Hope you are staying warm and having a wonderful weekend Sarah!

ReplyDeleteThere's no teetering going on where I am. I'm in the studio watching as pretty snowflakes fall and the temps are soooo cold. That's why the Ooh La Frou Frou post this week feels spring-like ... the girls and I are done with the winter thing and ready to move on!! Wish I could wear mint green, but I can't. It's one of the colors that doesn't go well with my light pink-undertoned skin. That and pale yellow. I have to appreciate the lovely colors in home decor items where I can ooh and ahh over it and not be shocked when I look in the mirror! ;) Have a lovely week, Sarah!
