The very definition of decadence.I believe it was while flipping through the lovely Canadian wedding publication, Wedluxe, that I first discovered Cake Opera Co. and was so taken by their creations. Unfortunately at the time, I went immediately to their website only to find a "coming soon" page, with the option of receiving their newsletter. (I signed up immediately, naturally) Much to my surprise, I opened my inbox this morning to find a flyer about their brand new site! Located in Toronto, this wondrous and well-presented wedding cake boutique and open concept studio offers a lavish cake collection, as well as a delicate selection of luxurious confections. From custom cakes to finely packaged macarons, this is heaven for the purveyor of sweets. Scroll below for just a taste of all that they offer...
Influenced by decadence and a bygone era, Cake Opera Co. has built an entirely new experience—so uncompromising. One thing that I really enjoy as a designer is finding that a company's branding and design is thoughtfully and properly carried through and into all aspects, from their store displays and packaging to their online experiences. Also, did you notice that one of the cakes shows an illustrated version just above? They showcase each cake as being illustrated in a mood board style before the actual cake is even constructed. It all truly makes the "experience" come to life... don't you find?

Cake Opera Co. is definitely one of the best cake studio's in Canada (one of my favorites). As well as Allyson Meredith from Bobbette & Belle! So pretty!
