L'avènement de Noël: № 5

"The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads"... For today's inspiration, we look at simple and lovely ways to decorate with a richly colored feel and look in mind. From an entrance of candles and greens—so inviting, to an extra layered living room, to snowflakes and a sweetly draped fabric over a little bed... also, this weekend, in case you missed, my responses to Oliver & Lilly's "Holiday Q&A" series is up!

  4. This was such a beautiful post! I loved the decor in the first and second photo! I adore candles and the various ways to display them within a room. I like seeing how others do it, to give me more ideas. So the first image was great! Never thought of putting them outside :) Mind you, aside from a clear night, that would be a disaster! Haha, thanks for sharing!

  7. Oooh I just love all the candles Sarah! I am in need of some more in my home... I bought a few pillars for my kitchen area, but need another for the table wreath I have set up in the living area. I would love to see your decor too :) Hope you had a great weekend...
