L'avènement de Noël: № 16

Captivating window displays, brimming with treasures.

Most especially at Christmastime I so look forward to shopping... not just to enjoy the actual shopping and searching out wonderful items for those I love, but to also enjoy the beautiful window displays. Most magical at night, when they are lit up and offset by moonlight, my favorites are those that take full advantage of the window and create an unforgettable and imaginative scene. In fact, one of my most favorite things to do during Christmastime is to drive around the city after a full day and just enjoy the street lights, shoppers, and window displays... I can only imagine the window displays in New York at night—I have yet to visit over Christmas, but will soon enough. I came across these wonderful images showing Bergdorf Goodman's 2008 Holiday window display in Manhattan—so enchanting! Have you been over Christmas before? Do you have a favorite window display?
