A look into a fashion designer's space and treasures.
Good morning, friends! I hope your weekend was filled with much fun and relaxation. We had our first little hit of snow here, leaving just a bit of white on the ground to enjoy this week. I thought I would start this week off with a peek at one of my favorite features in the *new* issue of Rue magazine—fashion designer Katie Ermilio's space. Isn't it fabulous? One of my favorite pieces is her old, old treasured hanger—what's yours?
+ Monday's finds to share: atelier couture / cool hunting for Gap, a pop–up shop / a gorgeous winter ski lodge / magically captured: "winter sonata" / a beautiful cashmere shawl for cozy evenings / a perfectly imperfect inviting table / gentle, paper–like ceramics (fill with twinkling lights for Christmas?) / notes from fifi / a beautiful store with many great pieces / well done: modern + classic appeal / necklaces to dream about / lovely brights / + stunning inspiration: femininity meets masculinity...

you did? thanks, Ashlina! isn't it funny how certain things can remind us of people or something we bet they will like. I do the same :)

Sarah - I think the hanger was my favourite piece too. Love your selections. They really took things up a notch this issue!
ReplyDeleteThe softness of the space with all of the white and pastels is intriguing with the rough surface of the painted brick backdrop! I haven't had a chance to go through this Rue issue yet as I've been catching up on so many projects, but will be leaving for out of town tomorrow and am looking forward to some down time to do just that (among other relaxing things)! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, Sarah! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi sarah,

ReplyDeleteHello wonderful Sarah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for paying attention to my humble candy store. Yes, you can invite yourself over any time. I will have special VIP store hours - just for you!
Did you recieve my mail regarding my "busy times"? Soon I will be coming up for air.
Love that cognac colored sofa. I think black, white and cognac are just stunning together.
Love, Mon
just saw your reply re: fifi and her pieces now are not originals at all, but prints of the originals -- happen to have been fortunate enough to purchase two originals when they were offered on her site a few years ago, and just before she was launched into superstardom :) they're quite the collector's items, i should think, and originals now would cost a small fortune xo
ReplyDeleteOh it is so gorgeous, I love it.
ReplyDeleteSnow my gosh, rug up darling,
xoxo
wasn't that spread just gorgeous?! Totally loved it - and her glasses :)
