Stop & Smell

A Flower Atelier: Tetya Roza

I think that flower shops have to be one of the most beautiful and happy places to be... unless of course you are incredibly allergic or are picking up a bouquet in response to a sad or difficult matter. But on the whole, they are a lovely place to visit! I came across this one in my travels the other day, by Studio Balenko. You might recall their name—I had posted previously about this elegant coffee shop that they designed, as well. Their work is so varied and lovely. This particular flower shop has been completely unique furnished by Balenko, leaving it with a warm, inviting and pleasant feel. Unique details such as their lighting, flooring and even bags create such a memorable experience, I find. Wouldn't you love to visit?

Of note: a pretty book, explaining in detail, the meaning of flowers. And also, today I am very happy to be a guest on Verdigris Vie, with a little insight of the person behind the blog. If you have a moment, stop by...

  3. Beautiful shop. I love the magazine holder and I can tell it smells good. Those chandeliers are perfect! I love my local florist, and try to visit often. I can get lost in there.
    Have a nice afternoon, Sarah.

  6. This is the kind of gorgeous shop where the shop assistants have to constantly ask "Can I help you?" because I can spend far too much time dreamily drinking in all the sights, scents and atmosphere! Beautiful!

  8. Thank you for sharing these photos of a shop in Odessa in my beloved Ukrain! Odessa is a beautiful and unique city located on the shore of the Black sea, with so many creative, talented people! I'm originally from that part of Ukraine, from a city that only 120 km away from Odessa and used to visit it often. Every visit is a joy. If you have a chance of visiting Ukraine - Odessa is a must see city!
