Rose Indulgences

It has the ability to be both fresh and completely romantic.

I don't think that I could ever tire of pink, and sometimes, more than others, I crave the softest pink. When my dear friend Crystal's, of Plush Palate and Rue, home was featured in Rue magazine, I was so inspired. Not only does Crystal have a natural sense of bringing in unique and wonderful pieces, while adding plenty of comfort and style, and a dash of surprise, I really enjoyed how she also adds touches of the loveliest pink. Just enough. Whether it be with perfumes, books, pillows or a chic vase, and if you look around, there are plenty of opportunities to add a little bit of sweetness into your space. I'm also a fan of Rachel Ashwell's beautiful and luxurious velvety pink chair (image 01) for a solid statement piece. I believe a soft pink and white, with a little glamorous gold or hues of weather brown just might be its most winning combination, don't you think?

Of note: today, I'm delighted to be sharing some absolutely gorgeous dresses on Daily Cup of Couture!

  10. I think pink is such an emotional color. I love it. And golds and browns do seem to bring out the warmth in the color. Of course, I love it in every shade.
