Weekend Inspiration

A wonderful home in Florence.

I hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start! I couldn't wait to share these images with you. Isn't this home beautiful? I really enjoy the bits of modern, seen in the glass paneling, some of the furniture and the staircase. I think my favorite detail of all, though, is that fabulous trunk turned closet—such a chic solution!

Also, thank you for your comments on yesterday's shopping post. Success was had—my shopping journey ended up taking over the entire day, extending into the evening, and ending with a wonderful dinner out. I brought home with me: a new, buttery, camel leather Michael Kors clutch, pleated and belted, cut–just–above–the–ankle black pants, and beautiful, laced, camel oxford heels. I'm over the moon and cannot wait to create outfits with my new pieces! Have you purchased anything new fun for Fall?

  9. Don't you feel that it seems a bit like a guy crib? But all the same, it looks very comfy. I wish I could run away this weekend and hide myself in the house. I'll bring with me lots and lots of books, music and swimsuit of course. I'll spend a whole day under the warm sun! Have a great weekend Sarah!

  13. Fé -- I admit, I do like a masculine place, probably just as much as I'm drawn to a romantic, feminine one...
