Timeless Images

Forever chic, black and whites.

I am such a fan of black and white paintings and photographs. There is something so pure about them, something so intriguing that is revealed only when an image is in black and white. When I found out that Ralph Lauren is now offering such elegantly framed, classic photographs, I couldn't resist sharing my find! They are limited-edition prints of just 300, available exclusively in the U.S. through Ralph Lauren stores, and now through their website. I love the iconic personalities and characters they chose—a tight collection of classics to treasure always. They would be fun by themselves or within a gallery. What are your favorites? Where would you put them?

Of note: today, Haute Design is being featured on Bright, Bold and Beautiful—what a lovely post! A warm thank you to Laura for the very kind write up...

  4. I LOVE these images. We are painting using grayscales with different scales of black and burnt umber/raw umber. It is more difficult than you would think. Such a lovely post, Sarah.
    Have a nice day.
