A New Tradition

Why not make a new tradition? An early Autumn picnic.

Welcome to September! A fresh new month. (I have so been looking forward to) And so, we must enjoy all that it offers... who says that picnics must be saved for only Summer months, right? Oh no, re–approach with a fresh new look and feel for an early Fall picnic outdoors... bring on the harvest hues! Your favorite cozy sweaters, worn blankets and an array of delicious treats. Perhaps pack up some bagels with homemade jam, pumpkin pie, fruit and cheese, figs, nuts, and refreshing iced teas, all in vintage suitcases—bring out a few chairs and tables, and spend the afternoon enjoying the new smell and feel that Fall brings...

Of note: today, I am a guest on Lanalou Style—sharing a few things on my wish list. Click here to visit.

  8. This is beautiful. Around here our Fall picnics are call tailgating. Known to happen during football season. Doesn't matter if it's college (Univ. of Texas) or NFL, the men have everything planned around football. So the girls plan parties for football games. This is delightful, that oak tree is beautiful. xx's

  10. Hello.
Loved your wish list over at Lana's - agree with all your picks!

This shoot is so lovely. Had only seen parts of it before until now when you so generously shared the full suite. A picnic is always a great idea - any season, so long as the company is good..! :)

    Happy end to the week.

  13. That sounds like an extremely great idea. The only problem is just the weather is so hot down here in Indonesia. I can barely stay outdoor, I'd rather be in an air-co room. I wish summer would say goodbye soon. The heat is getting more and more unbearable. Have a sweet day, Sarah!
