Warm and relaxing living spaces.
I love the combinations of wood and concrete and metal, wood and stone, and wood and fabric. These are quite highly contrasted spaces, but so warm in material and color choice, in layers, and with such large windows. I am so happy to have large windows, so that even on the most dark and moody days, light can still fill the spaces and brighten. Soothing...

Love these, but then it's Côté Sud, one of my favourites :) Top photo is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose beams are just wonderful - I have a few beams although they are not as grand as these and I do spend time just looking at the knots in the wood...if I ever catch a moment! It is soothing. We have the same sentiment. Lou x
ReplyDeleteI love hot tubs and showers in complete open but private spaces!
ReplyDeleteVery chic and elegant.I like how there is arranged the distribution of the interior space and the mixture of materials,
ReplyDeleteBig hugs Sarah, and lovely evening (I think there's 12 hours before that here),

ReplyDeleteOh my God! That bathroom!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so inviting spaces... I love those combinations, too... Many years ago, I was dreaming about having a big place (living room or library) with an old bathtub installed but not for bathing... it was to have a kind of a seat in it an that's where I would read... it sounds quite funny now. :P
ReplyDeletep.s. You're luck to have big windows!
:)
The abundance of wood add such warmth and almost like a raw edge to these spaces. I love them!
ReplyDeleteAgnes -- I love your thinking! It might sound funny, but I bet it could look really awesome :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. But I can never get enough high, beamed ceilings. That claw foot tub is pretty gorgeous, too. Hope you've been having a good week, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful spaces . I love it all. There is so much texture and warmth.
ReplyDeleteLovely post as always.
xo
I am not certain what it is about this place that I am drawn to, but I love it. It is more modern than my taste, but I feel like I would be very comfortable here. Love this, Sarah.

Love the photos, love the interiors and the light! In a cold Polish climate with minimum amount of sun for most of the year a wooden floor will have to do...at least in my tiny flat :-)
ReplyDeleteMackenzie -- oh, thanks! You must try this :)
ReplyDeleteAga -- wooden floor is lovely + so cozy!
Oh this space is amazing! One feels the warmth right away. xo
