A Dreamy Monday

Ahh, a new week at last.

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! I worked straight through this weekend, but enjoyed some time barefoot in the garden, reading, and even fit in "Ever After", starring Drew Barrymore. Have you ever watched it? What an enchanting movie. It got me thinking of dresses, castles, stories, and glamour of time far gone...

If you have been reading my blog, you will have certainly read my professed fondness for Mondays, as I believe they offer such a fresh start—a blank slate. Which is exactly why I like to share some found inspiration with all of you, to start off well, inspired, and with some beauty... like, these amazing fans for hot Summer days / these intoxicating, new Hermès ads for Fall, reminding me of Sherlock Holmes and London streets / this color inspiration: vintage blue / what's your style (discovered here) I came out as villa—do share what yours is! / the perfect cream dress / fun ballet flats / an amazingly cool house boat / a pretty hairstyle and how–to / a chic tote for newspapers and magazines / a unique dress with plenty of folds and tucks and secrets / a sexy–sweet one–piece for Summer / and lastly, an adorable photoshoot taken at a fair, that is so sorbet–and–candy colored pretty. Have a great day!

  2. Hi - I know I am abit of a serial commenter at the moment but just had to say - these pictures! AMAZING! I love the one where she is doing a handstand - inspired! I too like Mondays as I work part time and Monday is a day off. I re-group after the weekend, put everything back in its place, do lots of laundry and just try to get my head round what the week holds. I try to always run too in the mornings...which is a definite 'day off' activity! Lou x

  6. Gorgeous!

Less than a minute ago I was leaving a comment on a friend's blog saying how I love Mondays and how they feel so fresh and energizing. A brand new week ready to unfold... Then I come here and read your words. Amazing! :)

So here I am, at the end of Monday in Sydney. In fact only seven minutes left of it... so I am off to bed to welcome Tuesday and all that it brings.

    Happy post! Thank you.

    xx Charlotta
