Detail of the Week

Nearly transparent and delicate leaf lanterns.

I recently came across this wonderful company, Pacha Design, in my online travels, and couldn't resist sharing my great find! They specialize in handmade contemporary furniture and accessories from locally sourced, reclaimed and natural resources. In fact, the very word "pacha", meaning green/pure, was chosen to represent their eco–friendly attitude and apparent passion for using materials that are often seen as waste. I love that each item is designed and made by the owners in their small workshop.

After looking through a number of their designs, which are all lovely, I selected this one to share. I was instantly drawn to it's delicate look and the nature aspect of the design. Each beautiful lantern comes in a little box with tea-light and care instructions. (click here to purchase) I could see them out on tables for Summer evening dinner parties, or even at a wedding perhaps... what would you do?
