"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." – L. M. Montgomery
Today is cold, wet and rainy, but I don't care. In my mind it's sunny and warm... I dream of lovely days ahead, with dinners served out in the courtyard, plump and steadfast little bumble bees exploring the garden, windows and doors wide open, and the gentle hum of ceiling fans cooling the house...
I wanted to share these beautiful images with you today, as both the exterior and interior are so inviting and open to exploration. I love so many features here—the dutch door, the tiny stone table on the wall, the ceilings, walls, flooring... that quaint kitchen sink area, that is so special... okay, scratch that—I adore the entire kitchen, the attic bedroom with that little window that nearly is on the floor, and oh, that pool. It looks so perfect. What are your favorite features? One of my most favorite parts of the interior, though, is the way the natural light floods in... I can almost feel the warmth on the floor, on the sheets, on my skin...
I wish you a lovely June first!

As always Sarah, your images are just enchanting! I love that outdoor table overlooking the valley and of course the pool. The photo of the linen sheets on the bed is so visceral, I feel like I'm right there in the room! Gorgeous inspiration on this gloomy gray {but beautiful} day! Thank you! Hope you're having a nice Tuesday, dear!

That pool is perfection. When is it ever going to get warm? Seems like we have been waiting on it forever.
ReplyDeleteIt often scares me how the clock's ticking so fast. It's mid-year already. Gosh. This universe just won't spare you some time.
