Brimming with Elegance

B&B Italia: The classic Maxalto Collection.

It was love at first site. Can furnishings make you completely weak in the knees? Every time I flip through a magazine and see one of their lovely ads, I fall in love all over again. Over the years I have accumulated many images and magazine snippets from B&B Italia, (sometimes without even realizing it!) and decided that a post was in order—to feature some of the most stunning furnishings I have seen to date. I could just pack my bags and move in here...with a little of this and this...a dash of that...and a touch of this, to make it my own. As well as all my bits, books, and few antique pieces...

Don't you love the beautiful flooring, extensive and decorative moulding, set against the modern classic, yet comfortable furnishings? I find the mix of materials and scale to be wonderful, as well. Though, it certainly helps that just steps outside of these gorgeous windows is one of the most beautiful cities in the world! If you would like to see many, many more pieces from this collection, please click here. I warn you, though, a good cup of tea is in order—you could be there for quite a little while...
