Soft, muted blues, wood, gold and simple pleasures.
This is such a peaceful home...tiny bits of nature, thoughtful details and clean spaces make this place so desirable. From the perfectly set bedroom mirror, to the suspended bathroom sink, topped with Côté Bastide products, to that framing headboard in the last image. It almost looks like the furnishings were just tossed in place—an ode to effortless, easy living. I believe I have seen this place featured previously on another site, with a description, claiming that it is actually available for rent? I do know for certain that this country farmhouse is located in Luberon. My French is rusty in some areas, so I can only understand so much of the article. If you have any information, please do share!
Which detail is your favorite?

It is so effortlessly done, it's hard to pick just one detail, they just complement each other so well. Gosh some people are clever!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful,
xoxo
Ooooh, my gosh - all these pictures are so, so beautiful! I find it hard to pick one too, but the clever use of the beautiful mirror in the first picture already tugged at my heart... but the beautiful stool in the bathroom really gives that image a veautiful balance.

ReplyDeleteSimply Luxurious -- it IS so French. The chateau I stayed in, in the South, was very similar to this :)

Oh how I love that natural, concrete look of everything! Some might say the rock or concrete is cold but not at all, look how fabulous it is!! Love it, Love it, Love it! Girl, you sure have an eye for this stuff. Love ya!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.. and simply elegant.. looks like a truly relaxing space... Love the bathroom sink.. the contrast between rough concrete and the more delicate mirror above.... I had something similar in a resort I stayed at in Thailand.. you always want to come home and achieve the same...
Thanks for your lovely comment.... I hope you have a wonderful weekend... xx Julie
Oh, thanks, Jen! Same to you :)
ReplyDeleteJulie -- that is sooo true!
My pick is the headboard in the final pic, so chic

ReplyDeleteThe bed... always a comfy one to sleep in on weekends is what I love! have a nice sunday!

ReplyDeleteha! This is our favourite holiday home in the Luberon. The owners are wonderful, as is every single object/corner in the house and the garden (a huge olive grove). We've been four times now, both to this place and a smaller "Cabanon" across the vineyard. Heaven - a few more pics on my flickr
