Weekend + News










Hello, friends! Are you as excited as I that the weekend has finally arrived? Any fun plans? I'm looking forward to attending a spa/lingerie bridal shower tomorrow, working a little of course, as well as packing...yes packing! That's right—as of Monday, I will be departing for beautiful Santa Monica! I'm really looking forward to some serious pampering, (as in no dishes, preparing food, etc.) beautiful sunshine, visiting some of my favorite hot spots, exploring new places, and just enjoying some much-needed vacation time...

What are your favorite spots? I would love some recommendations. If you have a favorite restaurant, boutique, or anything else you enjoy, and would like to share, please do. Don't be shy!

    Montana Avenue, Santa Monica (North end of SM)
    + more shops in Malibu at Cross Creek Road.

    Downtown Culver City:
    Tons of great restaurants:
    Rush Street, Tender Greens...
    Royal-T Cafe/Gallery/Japanese Pop Culture spot
    Furniture at the old Helms Bakery District

    ...and a Star Wars Geek Burlesque show!

    These pictures are GORGEOUS! I love the dress on the second picture (black and rose)! Oh My God! And the shoes on the last picture!
    Even the interiors are beautiful!
    I wish you a very nice stay in Santa Monica! I really don't know that place at all! Only seen some views at the TV!

  12. Welcome to L.A. love, When in Santa Monica the Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel is marvelous for dining, tea, or a cocktail, at the bar, just a few blocks from the beach, perfect for our Spring weather. A little fabulous tidbit. To continue your Neiman's theme When in Beverly Hills the bar in
    the Men's Dept is also nice for food and drinks!

  18. Hope you have a lovely time Sarah! A drink at the Viceroy is always nice and of course salad, coffee, or dessert at Urth Cafe is a must! Plus take a stroll on the 3rd Street Promenade if you feel like shopping.

  27. You have to hit up my favorite deli/gourmet grocery/bakery Joan's on Third. It cannot be missed!! Best salads and cookies in town and fabulous people watching if you go for lunch. Watch out for Paris Hilton!
