Part of the beauty and allure of French women (besides their scent, previous post here) is their enviable complexion. They firmly believe in taking good care of one’s skin and aging well. From their early teens, they religiously care for their skin at home and practice good skin care habits—washing their face every night, using a gentle cleanser, toner and moisturizer morning and evening, as well as giving their skin weekly masks. Many women believe that once you turn forty, you must start intensive skin care treatments, but this is actually the opposite of what is true. Beautiful skin begins in the formative years.
If you’ll also notice, the French use far less makeup. They believe in celebrating one’s features and natural complexion. Makeup compliments, never covers.

For years, I have been searching for a skincare line that not only smells lovely, but feels great— something that would make the difference for my skin. After trying several brands, from simple skin care, to organics, to high-profiled boutique and department store lines, I felt there was nothing better out there. I was both surprised and thrilled after trying Votre Vu!
Votre Vu is a lovely premier skincare line, truly crafted in France. Unlike many other lines that claim to be French-based, (read their labels) each and every Votre Vu product is made with old-world craftsmanship by true French artisans. They cater to all skin types, from very dry to sensitive to mature skin. As a person with very sensitive skin, I was so incredibly thrilled with the results! Cultivated and perfected, the products are made in small batches with premium, naturally based, naturally-potent skincare ingredients; with the very same traditions that the French have celebrated for centuries. You truly feel the difference…
To top it off, I am happy to be offering one lucky winner this gorgeous Mal-ligne Wrinkle Eraser. Please leave a little comment below. The winner will be randomly selected on March 31st! Open to U.S residences only. Bonne chance!
