A Delicious Table Setting




I just came across this lovely and romantic photography by Karen Mordechai, displaying this array of delectable cheeses, bread and other wonderful treats. (read more about it here) I love cheese, especially paired with figs, grapes, pears, nuts and baguette...and of course, wine. (truth be told, our fridge has a larger cheese drawer than it does vegetables!)

Doesn't this looks delicious? Do you have a favorite cheese?

  1. I love this too! Cheese and a beautiful display - it looks so inviting. My favourite cheese is parmigiano reggiano - you can put it in anything.

  5. I'm hungry every time I open this page :) One of my favorites is Canadian maple...It's a beautiful cheddar, infused with Canadian maple syrup!

  10. Those pictures look delicious! I love the the hand-drawn menu and the antique table. I dream of hosting a cheese-tasting party, but I wouldn't know what cheese to pick. Do you have any recommendations?

  14. There's Canadian Maple Cheddar? Why haven't I had this yet! Have you had the apple-wood smoked cheddar? Mmmm... this is such a pretty setting they put together, I almost want to throw a little cheese soiree of my own now!

  15. mmmm....as you know I could not possibly pick a favourite cheese, because to me, there are just far too many to enjoy ;) but the one I use the most is Swiss Gruyere...lovely displays
