Some super chic inspiration to start off your day! Yesterday, I discovered this incredibly beautiful, new—to—me company, Asli Tunca, which was featured in House and Garden UK, September 2009. Specifically, that gorgeous choral bed above had been showcased in a spread, peaked my curiosity and lead me to their site...and what a treat it is! Turns out, this great husband and wife team encompasses many amiable talents combined, including artistry, a history in antique restoration, decorating, and fashion design. To top it off, they have a beautiful showroom in Turkey, in which they showcase some of their work in a space that is both authentic and lovely. The unique, minimalist layouts suggest a more gallery—style of living, which I adore.
The duo seem to have a natural knack of putting together pieces of history and depth with bits of modern and classic elements. With an appreciation and keen eye for quality, a love of aesthetics, and backed with their skill and knowledge, it's no wonder this is the result...and what a captivating result it is...

Just when I think Noa Noa cannot possibly produce a more beautiful collection, I am wrong. The tone and setting, combined with the fashion and styling makes these pieces irresistible. I adore the quality, textures, colors and layering! I have found that throughout their years of designing, their styles remain both classic and tasteful. Items you will want to return to after a few seasons of being packed away...in fact, one of my favorite tops is from their Fall collection of two years ago! Though, their scarves are incredible, and certainly a focal point during those extra cold winter months...
Aren't the little pugs hilarious, also?

Good morning! I hope you have had a really nice weekend—this weekend, I ate far too many chocolate macaroons, took a lovely walk in the city right along the water on Friday, and worked at the little boutique...it was such a pretty, warm weekend! I was feeling under the weather, but I think the worst is over. I'm very much looking forward to a productive week ahead...and I cannot wait to visit your blogs :)
Back to my reason for posting—this week's Detail of the Week. I came across this photo and instantly felt my heart pull. I look at this image, and see an old, beautiful door, and flowers tucked into the latch...I also see a story. Were these lovely blossoms left by a lover perhaps? A caring neighbor? Maybe a sweet Grandma? Or perhaps a secret crush? Wouldn't it be lovely to come home to a pretty little bouquet after a full day? If you could drop by and leave a surprise like this for someone, who would it be?

A huge thank you to my darling, for sending me an image from Amanda Wakeley's bridal collection. He knew I would love it, and have to share her designs with you! Unique is an understatement, no? I was floored. Aren't you? I think her work speaks for itself...and I know I, for one, will certainly be checking into her designs further once my darling and I are to be married. Her new site is so beautifully designed, it's a pleasure to browse through. If you have a chance to visit, do, as she also has a ready—to—wear and jewelry collection.
What do you think?
I wish you have a delightful weekend ahead, friends! Any fun plans? A wedding, a date with your sweetheart or a get together with friends? Perhaps maybe tackle that little project you've been wanting to get underway?

It's beginning to cool off here, and nothing brings me more comfort than a soothing pumpkin spice latte, a good read and a soft blanket...okay, maybe perhaps this beautiful room. How lovely is this space? Would you ever want to leave that large window, exquisite chandelier, and comforting bed? Well, if only to grab one of those luxe towels, take an hour and climb into a nice, soothing bubble bath...
Also, I wanted to thank you for your lovely comments on my guest post today!
Here are a few fun links to visit if you're in the browsing mood...

Can you hear the music?! Are you enjoying Fashion Week as much as I am?
Some of my favorite blogs have been featuring a number of the beautiful collections that we've been seeing on the runways—which is great because it's so nice to be able to see the pieces in more detail! So, thank you to those who have shared snippets of fashion delight for Spring of 2010* A few of my favorites so far are:
* Burberry Prorsum
* Pringle of Scotland
If you haven't had a chance, also visit style.com for some great little secrets and ideas :) And while you're at it, be sure to check out Jane Aldridge's blog, "Sea of Shoes"— featuring her recent fitting experience at Chanel in Paris! Not only does it makes me miss and long to return to Paris, but it's lovely to see a dream come true—I would love to do this one day, wouldn't you? To see more lovely images, visit Judy Aldridge's blog, Atlantis Home. I guarantee, you will be addicted to her style! I have been following her blog since February, and have found that she is truly a wonderful and warm person...
Lastly, tomorrow morning, my little guest post on Makeunder My Life will be up—a piece that is a part of Jess' thoughtful Design Your Life Series. I hope you like it! It took me 3 days to come up with the literature for I couldn't narrow down my thoughts it seems! I'm pretty shy about having my picture taken, and I always end up looking younger than my actual age. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it, and have a lovely night, wherever you are...
This series of photos features cutting-edge and artistic hair design and styling by James Abu-Ulba, an incredibly talented hair designer. (Isn't Lindsay stunning?) James is a Master Stylist and head of the salon at Spa Utopia, Langley location. Each of his clients are privileged to have a style that is not only specific to them and their personality, but is also cut with skill and precision. He has built a large clientèle, for someone who is young, which certainly speaks about his talent!
Images taken by Karolina Turek, for a hair design contest, held in Italy.
I had the privilege of assisting with the styling.
