I'm Back From Seattle

Hello, friends! I've just returned from a fun work/vacation in Seattle. We had such a wonderful time–our schedule was full of visiting great new places, meeting new people (and people that I have been wanting to meet) and just driving around, enjoying the city. The weather was crisp and beautiful...

On our second day there, we attended the 6th Anniversary party at Red Ticking, where I finally met Crystal, of Plush Palate, Cassandra of Coco & Kelley, and Erin of Apt. #34! (pic here) The boutique was brimming with beautiful and stylish Christmas decor, set amongst Pam's wonderful collection of vintage finds. She's such a wonderful and warm person, which you see so evidently in her boutique. I also had the pleasure of meeting John Granen, whose amazing work I posted about last week. What a talented, humble and kind man. After the celebration, we headed over to Rialto, a wonderful Italian restaurant. Great food, wine and conversation...

A few other highlights...

Sur la Table, for gingerbread pancake mix
Watson Kennedy, for everything delightful
Anthroplogie, for sweaters, boots, books, socks & tights
La Panier, for good coffee and macaroons
Fran's Chocolates, for anything in the store
Campagne, for beautiful, French food
*Vintage shopping and long, long drives

I had wanted to stop in at a few other shops, but will leave that for next visit! It's always good to have a few things to look forward to...Also, tomorrow, I'm excited to reveal a post trade, between Paula Grace, and I–be sure to check back tomorrow morning!
