The perfect match. Beautiful original artwork, by Dallas Shaw, combined with this decor, by Designer's Guild—stunning! I could see one, or a few, layered, front and centre on the mantle...
Aren't these illustrations fun, fashion—y and feminine? If you too are loving her style, be sure to visit Dallas Shaw's website, an interactive site that showcases new artwork, tee shirts, notecards, photos, news, and much more. I, personally, really love the illusration above with the girl holding the balloon, as well as this one. (celebrating fashion with beautiful lines, and such a vintage feel) She also has a sweet blog, called Dilly Dallas, in which she showcases her pieces, news about her work, as well as delightful fashion and decor...

The bold florals, combined with this clean and fresh palette is so lovely. (as is the moulding work!) I enjoy how Tricia Guild combines textures, so perfectly, mixing old, reclaimed wood flooring, with ultra-glossy finishes, plush cushions and velvety flowers. I highly recommend this book, for further inspiration and an endless supply of great ideas...
