I'm In Seattle!

We're here in Seattle – off in about 10 minutes to have breakfast and start our day. After we checked in last night, we walked towards the direction of one of our favorite Seattle restaurants, Purple, but made a quick stop into Urban Outfitters and Abercrombie. I tell you, I could smell Abercrombie before we knew it was there! (we picked up their "Fierce" scent) Though, I was also drawn into Urban Outfitters, by these great pants for Fall – a combination of black tights and skinny jeans. The fit is amazing and flattering! I couldn't resist them, but now, need a new pair of killer boots to finish off the look.

But what really got me, was Luly Yang Couture, about a block down from where we are staying – a store that almost made me loose my step as I walked by! Her Tiffany's blue wall set perfectly for her window displays is so eye–catching and elegant. Beyond that, her couture is pure art – like that butterfly dress...so lovely! I must stop in today :)

Also, a huge thank you to Crystal, of Plush Palate, for her great tips on places to visit while we're here...if you have anything to suggest, please do also!

Have a lovely day as well, friends!

  3. OMG, Sarah, you're here?! I had no idea you were visiting! Crystal has probably hooked you up with everything but just in case, visit Velocity and Red Ticking for home decor. My favorite place to eat is Matt's in the Market (at Pike Place Market). Black Bottle is fun for drinks, Txori has great tapas, and Umi has good sushi. If you want fine dining, Lampreia is our favorite. These are all in Belltown. I hope you have a great time! You picked a perfect time weather-wise. Isn't it gorgeous today?

  15. Welcome to my home town! I'm sure you have a packed itinerary but there a million yummy places to eat/drink in Seattle if you're hungry.

I second all of Alec's recommendations and would also highly recommend Spinasse for the most amazing pasta ever, Union, Taste or Spur for happy hour (all downtown), great shopping Nouva Moda or Le Amis in Fremont. The best brunch ever is at Portage Bay Cafe. I'll stop there before I get out of control.

I hope you enjoy our lovely town!
