Home Sweet Home

Hello, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far...I just arrived back home a few hours ago. We had loads of fun — we four travel great together—thanks so much for your suggestions on places to visit, shop, and eat. They were really helpful when trying to navigate a new city and figure out where all the "cool" spots are! I wish we could have stayed in Seattle for a day or two longer, but then again, that gives us another reason to return soon!

We did some really fun things on your short vacation, like shopping, exploring, eating out, and visiting the fabulous local market. The flowers were incredible for Fall— rich purples, some of which looked almost black...some citrus greens, warm oranges, and white, for contrast. We could have filled the house with these bouquets. We also met up with an amazing photographer (whose work we have been following for some time now) for breakfast, who is so humble and nice, yet so talented. We would love to work with him in the future...

A Few Fabulous Anthropologie Buys...

* This cozy and oh-so-ruffled sweater
* This cute hook for...hmm...somewhere
* With much anticipation — A pretty cream and black headband
(but I was unable to find an image online)

* I also scored on some beautiful, black leather flats at Kenneth Cole. (75% off!) So classic and timeless—such a simple and subtle shoe, perfect for when the outfit needs to be the focal point of the whole look.

Great trip! It's nice to get away from day to day living, and see a new place, experience new things, meet new people. It's also nice to come home to a place full of comfort and people that you know well...but I have with me sweet tokens of fun memories...some business cards, scribbled notes, photos and an Abercrombie scent to fill the entire home...

{more posts on a few fabulous shops to come...}

    I love the photos you used today, especially, the flowers. Simply gorgeous and make me think of autumn.

    By the way, have you seen a gorgeous little cream & brown Anthropologie coat with a beautiful autumn/winter drawing on it? I am seriously craving it at the moment.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    I full admit to being obsessed :) I came home, came through the door, unpacked my clothes, toiletries, etc. as fast as possible...got into my comfy clothes and opened up my laptop :) I have missed your blogs and my friends, even though it's only been a few days...

    Also, that Anthro coat is so beautiful in person! I think it would be gorgeous on -- a must-have for chilly Fall days...

    Miz.November -- that is so nice of you! I will visit your blog also...
