I wanted to thank each and every one of you, my friends, for taking the time out of your busy days to visit my little blog. Whether you spend 10 minutes or 20 seconds looking through, I really appreciate it! Your kind comments, encouraging words, and feedback over the past year have been irreplaceable to me. I have enjoyed connecting with you and visiting your pages as well—learning from you, seeing things you love, and sharing in your ups and downs. Your blogs are so wonderfully personal and heartfelt, and make me smile, laugh...and sometimes cry...
A year ago today, I began writing my first post, extremely intimidated, and a little nervous. Stacked in my office were files, notebooks, and scraps full of ideas, designers, photographers, my own work, and different things I like and have collected over the years. I have touched on about 1/10 of it all. I built this blog on what I know and appreciate. I wanted to share my tastes, things and places I like, and most importantly, to share those who are a part of the world of creativity, one talent at a time. I believe in supporting creativity, from world—renowned photographers, to fantastic boutiques, to newly launched businesses by women.
There is so much beauty in this world, and I love sharing in it along with you. Thank you for being a part of Haute Design :)
