Stylist Sofia Ronthén

I adore these photos from Swedish Elle. (photography by Thomas Klementsson) The model has such a natural, perfect pouty, glam look that works seamlessly with the apparel. Don't you just love the couture against the farm—style props?

The contrast of the exquisite gowns against the simple farm background seems to heighten the model's beauty. The photos are stunning!

This is definitely calico chic (which, until now, I would've thought an oxymoron). And I completely agree with Beth -- Nicki on Big Love would be the perfect target audience for this look (and it'd certainly be an upgrade from her Little House on the Prarie dresses).
