Chic Ladder Decor

Not just for helping you reach your favorite novel or change a light bulb! I like multi purpose pieces in the home, such as ladders, that could easily translate into two, three or four different uses/rooms. A ladder could be used to showcase art, an outfit, or tea towels. It could hold all of your belts in your closet, or your favorite magazines, right next to your bed. I would love to know if you have any ideas of your own, or something you've come across and thought was brilliant...

  4. I really loved this bathroom here from Nathan Egan designs: http://odietamoblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/quiet-time.html (last photo)

The ladder is not only functional (it holds towels next to the free standing soaker tub), but it acts as a great sculptural accent against the white walls and emphasizes the gorgeous high ceilings

  6. I love your selection of ladders. I recently placed one in my client's guest room for informal hanging of clothes. It looks wonderful and it is functional! Great blog!

  7. I love these ladders and have been thinking of putting one in a corner of my sitting room for blankets and magazines. Of course, I hate clutter so I go back and forth on this...love your round up!

  9. Where did you find the ladders in the first two photos? I've been looking for a Hopi-Indian-like ladder or a rustic-looking ladder like those shown.

  10. Actually, Graham & Green has one in right now that might be just the one you're searching for:

It's made of bamboo, and quite affordable!
I hope that helps. I can't locate the ones shown in the photos, but will comment again on here if I come across any similar...
