Sweet, Sugary Pastels

I've been enjoying Coco & Kelley's trend reports this week which have been displaying different blogger's opinions and ideas for the upcoming trends of 2009 for home decor as well as fashion. One of my my favorite posts showcased soft, delicate colors in which pastels such as pinks, peaches, soft robin's egg blue, etc. were brought together with a palette of neutrals in such a feminine manner. How pretty! I feel so inspired and my imagination is drifting so much so that I sought out more images that I found beautiful - I hope you do as well.

It reminds me of the freshness that only a transition from deep winter colors to a soft and fresh spring palette may bring. In my own trend report, a lot of pastels and neutrals are shown in upcoming fashion as well - I'm very excited to see such fresh colors! Thank you again, Cassandra, what a great idea to showcase different trend reports - it has been really inspiring.
